This is the Douay-Rheims Bible, a version popular with traditional
Catholics.
It was translated from the Latin Vulgate
into English.
The New Testament of the Douay-Rhiems was originally published in 1582,
and the Old Testament in 1609-10.
The text was heavily later revised in 1752 by Richard Challoner, based on the
King James Version, which in turn had borrowed from Douay-Rheims in a few
instances.
This version includes the Apocrypha after Revelations.
This text is in the public domain in the US because it was published
prior to 1923.
