KI'-KI'-AH THE MOUNTAIN BLUEJAY

The Middle Mewuk of Stanislaus River region say:

Ki'-ki'-ah, the Crested Bluejay of the mountains, plants acorns so that oak trees come up almost everywhere.

[Several other tribes mention the same habit which, by the way, is hardly a myth.]
